There are many people who find it so exhausting when it comes to friends and family because they are always putting others first. If you really want to fix your problems with putting others first, you will find that it if you try to make yourself think first about yours needs you may feel a lot better about yourself. You will find that not only will need to help to handle dealing with always putting others first, but you may need to hire a professional.
There are many people who will go to a professional and talk out some of their tendencies or some of their issues. It's not a bad thing that you are looking out for others; however, it's not healthy, because everyone had needs that have to be fulfilled. How can you face your own needs first? You may find that you feel very differently about everyone and everything because you will want to express your own feelings and needs, but others seem to be dependent on you. If you really don't want to take on a responsibility that is someone else's you may want to say "No". It's a very powerful word, but do you have it in you? Do you have it in you to say it to all of your loved ones? The minute you learn how to vocalize the way that you feel, you will be able to feel better about yourself.
You will also want to think about the way that you address your needs. You need to not only talk to others about your needs, however, you will find that need to express your needs to yourself too. This means that you will need to write down your feelings in a journal so that you can face your needs head on and find ways that you can develop yourself esteem.
You will also need to figure out how you can get others to see you more than just a person. You need to think about how you will express yourself to others so that you don't just one day explode. You need to think about the words that you use when expressing yourself so that you don't seem angry, but that you just seem like you need to do something for yourself. When you are thinking about yourself you still need to think about the feelings of others. There are ways that you can say no without hurting someone else. You will want to make sure that you take others inconsideration when you are saying no so that you can show your kindness.
